Our Story
CAP-IT was created by Shon L. Hadden, an Indiana entrepreneur who saw a need for a better way to protect the things that matter during painting and remodeling.
After finishing a renovation project, Shon looked around at all the plastic sheets, tape, and constant adjusting and thought:
“There has to be a simpler way.”
The spark came from something surprisingly simple: a shower cap.
If a small elastic cover could protect hair in the shower, why couldn’t a larger version protect ceiling fans and furniture?
That idea became the foundation of the CAP-IT Ceiling Fixture Cover and a new line of reusable protective covers.
