How it works:

It easily wraps around the ceiling fan or chandelier, completely encapsulating the fixture to protect it during painting, repairs, renovation, or storage. Quick and easy to put on and take off.

The collar has Velcro, making it highly adjustable to wrap around chandelier chains, wires, ceiling fan poles, or above the ceiling fan motor head. The Velcro collar fastens together tightly.

Strap:

The Cap-it Ceiling Fixture Cover has a strap on the bottom to attach to a Velcro piece near the top next to the zipper when needed to pull up excess material. It can also be used to pull the cover tighter around the chandelier or ceiling fan, and to wrap excess material around the chandelier if desired. The strap is very versatile.
